genuine Mocal UK cooler.This is the ideal size for minis, but everybody goes for the 13 row type cooler radiator‚ C-ARH221‚ which was fitted to the Cooper S eventually as standard but that was over 30 years ago, before the later type oils were introduced and running temperatures of modern day engines changed. The 13 row type was fitted to the MGB and other variants which gave it a larger production run, hence a more competitive price. Always fit an oil stat to get the engine to correct working temperature. In the early 1990’s with more up to date technology oil Rover realised fitting an electric fan was a better idea for any road car to keep the engine oil and water at its best temperature.
