Budget 13-Row Oil Cooler Kit
The budget oil cooler kit includes a 13-row oil cooler, stainless steel braided lines and adapters to connect between the block and oil filter head.
These do a relatively decent job of cooling the oil, but for a more efficient higher quality cooler, try the Setrab 13-row Racing Kit.
Always change the oil cooler when rebuilding the engine, as it can harbour all sorts of swarf inside. Never install an old oil cooler on a new engine.
From the block to the oil cooler measures 12-inches, then 14-inches from the cooler to the filter head.
The cooler is designed to be mounted on the front of the Mini subframe, just behind the grille and will require light modification to the front panel.
