Shouldered 5/16"unf bolts for the Mini clutch backplate to the diaphragm, not for heavy duty use or racing. Only tighten up to 16lbs per sq foot torque when using shake proof washer (GHF323) or 18lbs if using flat washer and locktite. Only use‚ C-2A3657‚ for anything other than standard as this is flanged and in high grade material.

The MED crankshaft pulley bolt is CNC machined from EN24T steel. The bolt is longer than standard to give a more positive location of the pulley on the crankshaft, with an in-built washer. In place of the lock washer, we recommend applying a drop of 27-01 thread lock and torque to 70lb/ft.
A series mini engine crank pulley bolts have been known to come loose, caused by pulley damper vibration on competition engines. This is a high tensile longer extended thread cap head bolt with thick washer to rectify this problem and also allow further spacing of the pulley. 0ver 2,500 sold since 1999.
