MK1 Cortina Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit
This kit comes with everything you need to convert your MK1 Cortina to rear disc brakes
No cutting or welding. Complete kit is bolt on
Suitable for uprated and standard half shafts. No machining is required to fit brake discs
Comes with all fitting hardware
Fits with all 13” steel wheels including standard Lotus Cortina wheels and Retroford lotus steel wheels
Fits with all 13” alloy wheels and Retroford Group 5 lotus alloy wheels
Can be used with standard pedal box and also bias pedal box (Proportioning brake valve will be required if using a standard pedal box BC035 / BC036)
Designed in-house and tested on Retroford’s projected cars
Fits Airflow and Pre Airflow axle casings
Hub / Disc face to caliper bracket face should be approximately 68.25mm for standard Cortina shaft and casing.
Not suitable for umbrella type hand brake cars
Note some Estate cars and GT versions have a different wheel face to half shaft measurement and this kit would not be suitable.
Suitable for MK1 Cortinas only.
