Interior lamp with a black on/off switch and pointed torpedo ends.
Also fitted many of the 1959on range of Austin A55/60 Cambridge, MG Magnette etc.
Also there was an alternative lamp with black switch and square ends 13H192 which was replaced by a white flick switch type with square torpedo ends,See 13H4398.
In October 1974 the Mk2/3 lamp was superseded by a rectangular lamp 13H8919 with a clear lens but was replaced by EAM1650.
The original lamps some 60 years old have all tarnished and become very fragile and many have gone out of shape and when re-fitted crack or break so often need replacing.
just to confuse car owners 1988 supercession list showed that 13H192 became 13H4398 and both used 17H9971 lens.
13H4398 said use 13H8919 but this lamp was fitted to 1974 on cars and a different shape.
14A9148 with clear lens 37H9933 was replaced by 13H8919.
