These two simple cables are all that keep the boot lid from crashing down, damaging hinges, bumper and paint. When one fails we recommend replacing both to be sure of the same length sold singly 2 required per car. 37H3043 can be used to replace the plastic spacer if required as they are often broken or missing on later cars
